Save the Children Romania is a non-governmental non-profit national association based on the voluntary activity of its members. More than 800 volunteers are involved in the activities carried out through the General Secretariat and the 15 Save the Children branches throughout the country.

You can be a volunteer at Save the Children Romania, too!

The first step is to contact Save the Children Young Volunteers' Center , by phone: +40 21 316.76.67 or e-mail: voluntar@salvaticopiii.ro. At the Center, you will find out all the information you need in order to be a volunteer:

• What programs can you get involved in?
• Which are the activities that you can carry out?
• How can you initiate projects and promote your ideas?

These discussions will provide you with a clearer image about the activities of the organization and will clarify the ways you can get involved, according to your option and also the compatibility with the tasks that you have to fulfill. The coordinator of the program that you chose will provide you with specific information and facilitate your integration in the group of volunteers. More experimented volunteers will always support you in your activities.
